Have you ever felt that you messed up so badly, or that you were so far gone that there was no turning back? Have you ever been hurt so deeply that you never thought that you would be able to trust again? Have you ever been so heartbroken that you never thought that you would be able to love again? Have you ever been so lost that you never thought you would be able to find your way again? Have you ever tried to give your all and be the best that you can be, but still didn’t feel good enough?

Honey, you aren’t alone. Life can knock us down to our feet and make us feel hopeless and worthless; however, we aren’t meant to stay down forever. We are created to love, to forgive, to live and be free!

Can I share something with you? Worship, prayer, and praise have gotten me through some of the roughest seasons of my life. When the pain and agony wouldn’t seem to stop, God lifted my head and told me everything was going to be alright.

Sis, I may not have gone through what you have gone through; however, you are still here for a reason. There is purpose inside of you and God is not finished with you yet! It’s okay to start over. Sometimes we get so used to our ordinary routine, trying to please everyone else while feeling purposeless, but today I want to remind you that it’s okay to start over.

Some may have lost a loved one and feel hopeless.
Some may have lost a job and are struggling to make ends meet.
Some may be going through a breakup and the pain won’t go away.
Some may be feeling stuck and have nowhere to go.

Honey, what you have gone through was too valuable for you to give up. When you are feeling the urge to give up, all you have to do is look up, and get up! When you are feeling weak, He (God) is strong.

Permit yourself to start over.
You’ve been going back long enough. You’ve been hurting in private long enough. You’ve been keeping your voice silent long enough. You’ve been feeling purposeless long enough. You’ve been feeling the pain long enough. You’ve been struggling long enough.

It’s time to start over.
Your family needs you to start over.
Your children need you to start over.
Your peace needs you to start over.
Your joy needs you to start over.
Your happiness needs you to start over.
You need yourself to start over.
Your future is waiting for you to start over. Get your joy, peace, and happiness back. Girl, you need to snatch it back.

This time when you start over, let go! Let go of the hurt, pain, mistakes, failures, and heartbreak! You owe it to yourself to start over.

Start loving yourself.
Start enjoying yourself.
Start smiling more.
Start praying more.
Start forgiving more.
Start spending more time with God.
Start speaking up more.
Start hoping more.

Now is the time to start over. God wants to give you a fresh start in this season. There is hope!
